I gave birth Wednesday morning, woke this morning around 7am freezing cold but felt warm, knew I had a fever coming, is it normal to get a fever chills bad headaches after giving birth, I'm not really bleeding much now, had a long tough pregnancy with a cervix prolapse, but don't need surgery etc, just hoping this is just a fever from birth and not caught anything from hospital, (don't have covid symptoms) chills and headaches, top of legs still hurting, belly is fine x

What your temp?

You need to contact the hospital tonight as you may have an infection. Don’t leave it until tomorrow.

Realise I didn’t answer your question. No it’s not normal to have a temperature unless you have an infection and a headache can be a sign of preeclampsia- you can get it after birth.
