Period-like pains

I had a c section 8 months ago. I'm EBF and not had a period yet.

But for the last few weeks I've had what feels like mild period pains. I keep thinking I'm about to start bleeding, but nada.

Any ideas?

Your cycles might be getting ready to start, and you may be ovulating even if you aren't having periods. I would be very careful about contraception.
