Shaving after c section

So I'm 2 weeks pp and although I dont think I'm ready / healed enough yet i was wondering when everyone shaved after a section?

My scar is just below my bikini line so it will need doing at some point but the thought of using a razor anywhere near it ever is enough to make my legs go like jelly 🤢😂

So, was just wondering what everyone else did, or how they actually managed it? 😬

Congratulations on your baby ! I didn't shave the actual scar for at least 6 months (too worried lol) so just shaved around it -very interesting look I must admit Wink

Certainly didnt even think about it at 2 wks post section! I trimmed (with bikini trimmer) probably 6 weeks once it looked properly 'closed up' - but i wouldnt even contemplate a razor blade in the vicintiy for a few months!!

Thanks for the replies!

@Happycow oh god don't worry I'm not going anywhere near it just yet! I was more curious because I didn't realise just how low the scar would be! And now I've got one I'm wondering if it'll ever be okay to shave again 😂😂
