Desperately need advice please.
I had a section 5 weeks ago today and following I had very minimal bleeding. I split my wound a couple of weeks later but had it checked and they weren't concerned as no sign of infection or anything and it now seems fully healed.
I definitely haven't taken it easy as such, baby was on special care for 5 days and I have 6 children at home. Dad returned to work from furlough 3 weeks ago so I've had no choice but to get on with stuff. I'm in no pain now but my god the bleeding is horrendous. I don't think it's my period returning either as no pains or anything. Is this over exertion or should I be worried? I've had no postnatal care due to Covid. Haven't actually even been signed off from the midwife yet! When I phone her she's very disinterested and tells me to ring maternity day unit which always means a hospital trip, as you can appreciate in these times it's the last place I want to be going 😕
