High bp ect

Wondering if anyone is in the same situation as me..im currently 1 week pp and had a c-section delivery everything was going absolutely fine however now my blood pressure is high and pulse rate is low its starting to really worry me , seen at hospital few times for this since giving birth and all bloods ecgs coming back normal 🤨 cant help but worry , has anyone had this after delivery? How long does it take to settle ? This has seriously had an impact on my health anxiety is off the scale

I had this but it was my pre-eclampsia that hadn't gone after the birth. Could you ask about medication to lower your BP - at what point would they recommend this? (If you're breastfeeding there are still meds that are safe)

I had high BP in pregnancy and it took a little off weeks to go away.

I had high BP linked with pre-eclampsia. I was on BP meds for about 6 weeks after the birth.

@KatieKat88 i cant take most bp tablets as my pulse is way to low ! X

@Chez13 how high is your BP and how does it compare to pre-pregnancy/your booking in appointment?

@KatieKat88 the last ready i got was 188/89 , pulse 45 strange ! My pulse is usually on the lower scale probs around 57-63ish but dipping to that ! I find it very strange how my bloods ecg ect al coming back as normal! But they wont start me on any tablets as they are saying its not worrying?! Well its worrying to me , bp through pregnancy was normal and on the lowers end at times X

What has your midwife said? That's similar to what mine was(I think my second number may have been higher though) and I was readmitted and put on a magnesium sulphate drip. I was already on several BP meds though so it was high on top of those which may have been what made them take action? Have you felt dizzy, any headaches, visual disturbances?
