When do after pains stop

7 weeks in and every time I feed off of one breast, don’t know why the other ones ok, I get excruciating cramps, like from my mid/lower back through my thighs (labour wasn’t that bad till his head was coming out pain level wise)

Typically it’s my good side where my milk seems to be more in supply/faster flowing/easier latch.

How long do after pains last? It’s not period cramps, no bleeding for weeks now and the implant has always stopped mine.

Gp isn’t doing 6week checks for mums so I don’t know if it’s worth the time trying to get seen.

I've not heard of pain like this before, I had some smallish contractions whilst my uterus was going back into shape but i can't remember it ever being that severe.

It might be worth giving one of the BFing Helplines a call to see if they think it's common

I agree, give one of the helplines a call. Could be a version of normal but mine were pretty much gone after 2/3 weeks
