Intermittent lochia & large clot after 11 weeks

I had a c section 11 weeks ago now, and am still bleeding. I called the GP last week and they were not concerned as I had no pain or offensive smell. Originally the bleeding was red, but for the last 8 weeks or so has been like a light period with brown blood. Occasionally I've had a couple of days with no bleeding at all. A couple of days ago, after the longest stretch of no bleeding (3 or 4 days) I suddenly passed a clot about the size of my fist Blush
Since then, I've finally been having yellowish discharge which I believe should be the final stage of lochia? I have also started getting period-like cramps.

I don't really want to bother the GP again as they have already told me not to worry, and I've had quite a few health issues over the last few weeks. Theyre going to think I'm taking the piss if I go back again.

Has anyone else had this? Does it sound like I should get checked in case they left some placenta in there? Or does it sound more like I'm finally coming to the end of it?

Hello hun! I had a c section and took 11 weeks to fully stop too. I was concerned as most people online stopped after the 6 weeks but mine took ages!
Totally understand you not wanting to phone the GP and I'm also having several health issues related to birth and I'm worried I'll look like a worrier.
I didn't have massive clots but l can reassure you on the length of time xx
