10 weeks postpartum and bleeding without cramps

Might sound like a silly question but my little boy is 10 weeks old, he is breastfed on demand. I have just started bleeding randomly without any pain or cramps. My doctor said my period would go back to normal once he started sleeping through the night or weaning however he is still feeding every 2 hours so what could this be? Has anyone else had this? I only bled for a few days after giving birth to him so it seems strange that it could be bleeding from birth this far along.

I had this at 6/7 weeks pp and hv said it sounded like my period had come back early, some of us are just unlucky 🙈

No I didn't but tbh I never do normally

I got my period back after 9 weeks and no cramps at all. I used to have horrendous period pain but since my baby, nothing.

Thank you for your reply, mine were exacly like that, this is why I was convinced it wasn't my period as usually my cramps were horrendous! Im guessing its just my periods trying to regulate themselves again. Thanks again!
