Hi

I am 12 weeks post partum, just waiting for my hair to fall out any day now lol

How long after giving birth did yours start to fall out?
Did you use any shampoos to help with the appearance?
I read that volumising shampoos can make your hair look thicker - havent tried it myself, I didnt do anything when i got Postpartum hair loss with our first child. Took a year for it to look decent again

Dh keeps commenting on how he loves my thick hair, i have to remind him its gonna go soon haha

I can't remember losing a significant amount with either of mine if I'm honest. Maybe you'll get to keep it?

I didn't lose any of my hair, he got lovely and thick in pregnancy and has stayed that way

About 2-3 months after birth. And it's still falling out now. (15 weeks post partum) and it's falling out in clumps. I'm unsure if it's related to the anti depressants I've been put on even though there is no evidence for hair loss with them.

Does anyone who did experience hair loss know when it starts to slow down falling out? I must lose over 200 hairs a day!!

Started when baby was about 4/5 months and lasted for at least 3 months. It's awful, now growing back with tufty bits everywhere

4 months and I've got hair everywhere
Keep finding it all over the baby . Have to be careful it's not wrapped around his fingers or toes
Haven't noticed any bald patches yet but I wouldn't be surprised

Mine fell out 4 months post baby too and for three weeks it was horrible, loads fell in the shower and when i brushed it. Seems to have settled now but the re growth looks ridiculous! Doesn't help that there are no hairdressers about! Grin

My hair has been falling out, quite a lot when I wash it. It started at 4 months post birth.
