Bleeding during isolation

Hi all, I'm stressed.

I had a baby 8 weeks ago and I'm still bleeding bright red blood. I was scheduled to have a scan yesterday but my daughter had a fever so instead went into isolation.
I spoke to the doctor who rearranged my scan for 2 weeks time.

Today the bleeding Is particularly heavy and I'm getting mild pains.
I'm pretty frightened and if we weren't in isolation I'd be heading to a&e.

Am I just expected to put up with it?

It's not my period, I'm exclusively breastfeeding and the bleeding has been constant for 8 weeks.

Can someone either reassure me or advise what action I should take??

If you are in pain and the bleeding is heavier, I would ring 111 or go to A&E. I know that's not an easy choice, given the current circumstances but it does sound like you need to speak to someone who is medically trained.
