no period yet??

i had my baby 7 weeks ago and i thought i was coming on my period last week with cramps and i still have them now like period ones!! still no period, i'm waiting for my first period to take my pill. I don't think i'm pregnant we have been using condoms and i keep taking pregnancy tests i'm that worried Confused does anyone know if this is normal??? tia xx

forgot to add i'm formula feeding as well not breast feeding

I think the cramps are the uterus returning to normal size. It is normal.
I mixed fed and period returned after 6 months.
