Tricky one. DD is 12 weeks and for the past 4 weeks I’ve been covered in itchy little bumps. Exactly like insect bites, went to the pharmacy and pharmacist said they looked like insect bites. The cat did bring in some fleas from the garden but we took him to the vets and they couldn’t find one on him, but still gave him preventative treatment. That was 4 weeks ago and they’ve all gone but I’m still getting covered in bites. I spoke to pest control who won’t treat my home for fleas unless I can SEE them, which I can’t.
I’ve heard of post partum hives but it seems too ironic that my cat did bring in fleas a few weeks ago.
I’m hoping that it IS just some sort of hormonal skin change as the thought of having a flea infested home is messing with my head and getting me down. I can’t sleep at night because I feel like I can feel things crawling on me. I don’t know if it’s all in my head.
