Pain 4 weeks after c-section

Hi,

I had a section nearly 4 weeks ago. Everything went smoothly and in had little to no pain after and came off painkillers within a week and have been up and about quickly with no issues.

All of a sudden my tummy is sore to touch between belly button and cut. Is this normal? Are nerves coming back or is this something else?

Should i be checking in with docs rather than waiting until 6 weeks?

Hi, I realise this reply is a bit late but was wondering if you have improved? I am 4 weeks post c section and having exactly the same feeling but also with pain on one side above the incision site. Did you get any answers?

Hey @Aintlifelikethat,

I asked my health visitor and she said I should still be on painkillers, and at a minimum ibuprofen as still healing internally.
