Hey op sorry you are feeling this way? Do you have any one in real life to talk to at the moment?
You’re local Nhs trust will have a crisis team on call - if you are having intrusive thoughts this would be a good place to start. Just remember you aren’t alone, and keep talking xx

I only realised in hindsight tbh. The type of thoughts that you're describing are symptomatic of PND and enough for you need help.

Speak to your GP and the person who is giving you EDMR. This might be tricky over the holiday period, so in the meantime talk to family, friends, the Samaritans, crisis team.

Do you have a partner - are they aware how low you're feeling?

Are you still under the Health Visiting team - if so, give them a call.

take care.

Thank you I just got my first period since birth So think this may have effected how I’m feeling I always used to get bad pmt.

Il chat to my therapist next week, my partner does know I’m struggling. Just wish I had more motivation. Sounds selfish but perhaps I need a day to myself. Love my baby deeply but I feel burnt out x

Ah, yes pmt was awful for me post birth. Sleep deprivation made it much, much worse.

It might be worth going to your GP and describing your symptoms. You may have pnd and/or may have a deficiency or imbalance that could be picked up in a blood test.

Anemia, B12 deficiency, underactive thyroid all have depressive symptoms for example.
