I’m 6 months pp after an emergency c sec and I struggle to fully empty my bladder, I always have the urge to go and it’s so annoying at night time. Anyone had this ? I thought bladder issues only occurred with vaginal birth.

Sounds very much like bladder/urine or kidney infection, go get a urine test done at doctors & get some antibiotics if it is

I had a similar problem and was checked for an infection, but didn’t have one. I’m now on medication for an irritable bladder.

@Slippingcareer I didn’t know you get could medication does it work for you and did gp prescribe it ?

It’s not infection as have suffered with them in the past so know that feeling but thank you x

Yes prescribed by GP and it has helped. I’ve gone from being up 4 times a night to once a night.
