Contraception

I was just wondering what contraception anyone used after birth and still using etc. I'm breastfeeding atm so combined pill is a no go. I fell pregnant last year on the mini pill, took it religiously gave it 7 days to work first, never missed one, always took on time and I still got pregnant.

I did opt for the implant but everyone I know has had such bad side effects that had to have it removed. Any suggestions? And if so did you have any side effects?

Have a look on the Breastfeeding Network website for the best advice on breastfeeding compatable medication
They also have a Facebook page, and give advice on Messanger.
I personally have an Mirena coil, and breastfeed, but I had them before children so know it suits me.

Combined pill can be used from 6 weeks after birth but may have an effect on supply. If you dont want a combined contraceptive then mirena, depo injection, implant, copper coil are ok
