Bleeding after birth

Hello sorry if this is tmi but I had my baby a week and 2 days ago and I was wondering how long the bleeding should last I am still getting the Bright red blood and my mum said it should of turned More brown by now which had worried me!
I'm nit passing clots anymore and there isn't loads but what is there is still bright red! Should I be worried?

This sounds normal to me, so you have an upcoming visit from your midwife? Everyone is different but I bled bright red for a week and then it gradually decreased and turned brown

I'm day 5 and still bright red. I think it switches between brown and red for a bit depending on how active you are.

Mines didn't go brown, stayed red the whole way through but just eventually got less and less

Okay thank you guys!! Some days it's worse than others and I am trying to be abit more active like walking my daughter to school and back and when ever I do that it's worse so it's probably just that but I will mention it to my midwife tomorrow 😊
