Can't stop crying today

So I had my baby girl a week ago today and everything's been going fine except the usual things - struggling to get started with breastfeeding and trying to figure out life with a newborn and 2 year old.

Things have been going well though but today I just can't stop crying and feeling like I'm just a terrible mum for no reason.

Is this just normal baby blues? I don't remember being like this with my first.

This is very normal, op! Your hormones are all over the place and your body has just delivered a baby! Be kind to yourself and cry all you need to. If it continues for too long, make sure you talk to your hv or gp about it. You don't want to suffer with PND needlessly. Congrats on your baby!

It may be the start of PND but it also may just be normal baby blues. I was very tearful for the first few weeks after having dd,hormones are all over the place and sleep deprivation doesn't help!!

See how you go, if the feelings don't get better or they get worse chat to your midwife.

Thanks ladies. I'm actually feeling better today so hopefully over the worst of it. Hormones are a nightmare! Xx
