vaping around baby

Hello!

My father is visiting and he smokes e-cigarettes constantly. Would you let him vape around my 3w baby around the house? Should he be allowed to hold the baby at all?

My mother-in-law visited a week ago and she made the effort of not smoking for the days she was visiting, which I didn't appreciate much at the time but now do.

I'd tell him he had to vape outside. Not sure about holding the baby afterwards though...it doesn't seem to linger like cigarette smoke so maybe ok after 20 mins or so.

The risk is low but 3 weeks is very young. I'd ask him to vape outside (or at least in a different room). Would let him hold baby after say 10 mins.
For smoking in comparison, would ask for change of clothes and hand-wash before coming back into house, and allow only short occasional holding of baby.
Would loosen up a bit after say 6 months but at this age there seems no point in taking any risks
