Post c section underwear recommendations

Just looking for some recommendations for post c section underwear, after my last section I got an infection around my wound due to sweating in excess skin aka the pouch and ended up back in hospital about 10 days after giving birth, really hoping to avoid that scenario this time so hoping you lovely ladies might have some recommendations please.

No special underwear, but I would wedge a maternity pad against mine to soak up sweat and dry it off with a hairdryer after a shower.

Thank you for the reply, I did use the hairdryer after the shower but it didn't help. How did you keep a pad in place though? I always wore big granny knickers to prevent any sticking near the wound.

Wore big granny pants and just sort of wedged it there, as grim as that sounds.

I ordered some of amazon at recommendation of an ex midwife. They look like fishnet shorts type thing basically they are breathable so it's great for healing. I wore them with maternity pads and my scar has healed brilliantly with no complications. I think they are the same type they have in the hospitals.

Another vote for big granny pants and stick a pad in them. A loose fitting nightie with nothing else at night to let air get to it once it's started to heal. You can get a saline spray called 'stericleanse' to give it a clean with in days you don't have a shower. Also get yourself some packs of sterile gauze to pay it dry with. Chance the maternity pad at the first sign of sweat or any blood / exudate oozing from the wound
