Period after birth?? Formula fed

Had my daughter 6 weeks ago on Sunday just gone and not had a period. Shes formula fed. When have you had your first period after birth?

I was given medication to stop my milk coming in after one of my children and it took about three months for my period to return.

Mine is formula fed and it took almost 13 weeks for it to appear but it has now been going on for 3 weeks!!!

No help but my daughter was 6 weeks old yesterday, also formula fed. My body has been gearing up for a period for weeks. Think it's due any day as I'm having cramps, cravings for sugar/chocolate and drained.

My HV said it's about now that your body kickstarts fertility. With my son, I breastfed for 6 weeks, period showed up at 9 weeks post partum.

6 weeks or less, both times, despite breastfeeding exclusively and excessively til at least 6 months.
