I gave birth to my son nearly 3 weeks ago sadly he was born at 22 weeks & passed away :( I had a normal vaginal delivery the first 3 days had heavy bleeding then it stopped to only passing when I go to the toilet now I have days where it’s incredibly light brown discharge when going to the toilet then the next day it goes back to thick heavy stringy red clots but still only passes when I go to the toilet I do not need to wear pads as it doesn’t ever come out any other time is this normal? I’m so fed up of this bleeding just want it to stop it’s all a painful reminder of what happened I just want my body to go back to normal ...

Didn't want to read and run, not sure of the answer but wanted to say I'm so sorry for what you've been through. Be kind to yourself x

I am so sorry for your loss Flowers

It can take a while to stop, unfortunately. Mine lasted 5 or 6 weeks. I hope it stops for you soon x

I’m so sorry for you.

With both my boys it lasted six weeks until I could confidently just wear knickers.

What a horrible reminder.
