4 weeks PP - new bleeding and discharge

Hi all

I am 4 weeks PP and my lochia seemed to come to an end; I have recently started bleeding again, which I thought was either from my episiotomy or my other 2nd degree tear. GP has ruled that out; but doesn't know where the (new & bright red) blood is coming from. It's not a period. Fairly traumatic forceps birth.

I also (sorry!!) have been having some mucus discharge from my bum; GP thinks maybe an internal sphincter tear and maybe gallbladder probs following rapid weight loss (lost 2 stone in 2 weeks).

Anyone has anything similar? I'm starting my second boy of antibiotics in the hope that whatever is bleeding heals; have been referred back to Ob/gynae at hospital but this could take 3-6 months. Any advice welcome!

My bleeding came back as bright red at about 4 weeks. The health visitor said it can happen if you overdo things. I had done a lot of walking and lifted a couple of heavy things. The bleeding stopped again after a few days. I also had a forceps birth x
