Second degree tear

How long until my stitches heal? Is there any way to heal them quicker?
Also how long after was it until you could have intercourse again? I’m worried I’ll never want to try and have it again lol

How long ago did you give birth? Im 4 weeks atm and my stitches have healed - I was cut and have a second degree tear too!

I haven’t had sex yet, I’m worried about my stitches etc I know they are fine but I think in my head I just want to ensure I’m fully ready. I haven’t even had a look down there yet although I don’t have that “heavy” feeling which a lot of people describe.

Healing wise I found warm baths/showers great and I used warm water to pour on myself when having a wee and using a towel to dry afterwards. After a bath / shower laying on your bed without underwear etc is good for healing too.
