Has anyone else had this after having their baby? I’m pretty sure I have this as have pressure down below and have a pink bulge showing which wasn’t there before, I’m hoping to see the doc tomorrow about it, it doesn’t cause me pain but is annoying and have read u can have a peasary Inserted. Has anyone had a peasary and was it painful? And did it help?

I had a prolapse after having DD. Fully repaired with a ton of pelvic floor exercises - the pessary or mesh are not an easy fix!

How long did u have to do pelvic floor exercises for ?

Look into hypopressive exercises - there might be a class near you. More effective than "just" pelvic floor exercises IMO. Takes a little while to get the hang of it but bloody brilliant - you can really feel it working.

Rockchick1984 That is really reassuring. Like the OP I’m 3 weeks post partum and have noticed a prolapse. I’m really upset by it but wasn’t sure if it was something that might improve once my pelvic floor was stronger.

Pickles31 What did the dr say? I’m not sure whether to wait for my 6 week check or book something earlier.

Pickles31 and user1471426142can I please ask how you got on after being checked? I am 7 weeks pp and also waiting to be checked for a prolapse. Am feeling very down about it all 😔

I have it! It's horrible. Can't walk very far without feeling uncomfortable. I'm several months in and feeling really down about it. Just started a similar thread (should have checked first!) as I am conscious that constantly holding the baby is making it worse. No advice here, but I feel your pain. oh the things nobody tells you before having a child!

How did your check up go, Pickles? I have the bulge and pressure too
