Just wondering if it’s possible for an episiotomy scar to sort of ‘re-open’ after it’s healed 7months after birth?

I’ve noticed some bleeding when going to the toilet (bowel movement) and pain every time like I’m being cut. I think it’s the episiotomy scar

I’m going to the doctors as soon as I can get an appointment (which takes its time Hmm) but was wondering if anyone else has had this?

It sounds more like a little fissure (or tear) in your anus. Scar tissue is pretty tough and unlikely to suddenly come apart for no reason. But best to get it checked out

Sounds like a fissure to me too. Keep your poo as soft as possible.
