I had a C section on 20th February, and I'm on 6 weeks of Inhixa injections for blood clots. I am wondering if I'm doing it right? There always seems to be air in the syringe, which until now I have been injecting as I inject the whole syringe. Well a couple of days ago I pulled the plunger back as I was taking the cap off, resulting in more air than usual in the syringe. I injected the whole syringe as usual, and it really hurt afterwards. Tonight as I was pinching the skin, I can feel a small solid lump under the skin, pretty much where I injected a couple of days ago. So tonight I decided to stop injecting when I could see there was air in the syringe, but when I pulled the needle out and fully pressed the plunger to make it cover the needle, a large drop of solution came out. So now I haven't taken the full dose and I'm wondering what i should be doing? Should I just inject the air or do other people somehow get the air out first? The nurse at the hospital just injected the whole thing, but she also left bruises which I don't.
