C section scar open?

Hi, I'm 4 weeks pp after my c section and my scar seems to still be open a little. The rest of my scar has healed lovely apart from this. There is no smell coming from opening and haven't spotted any other sign of infection. The day after arriving home from the hospital, my midwife told me it should heal over in time. Should I get it checked by the GP or does this seem normal? Picture for reference, sorry if TMI.
TIA x

Go and get it checked out.

Have you been overdoing it? Doing anything that could put excess stress on your wound? Vacuuming? Carrying/picking things up? C section is major abdominal surgery and recovery should be gentle and gradual. The fact that it isn’t smelly or weepy is a good sign but get it checked out in case the doctor wants to dress it and take it easy.

One of mine was like this, it had to be packed and redressed regularly by the practice nurse until it healed. Go sooner rather than later as it gets infected easily.

Thanks ladies. I'll book an appointment with my GP. I probably have been overdoing it. I was out and about probably about 4-5 days after surgery. I do feel pressure when walking so maybe I should rest up a little more!
Thanks again x
