Any ideas how long you have to wait before having a bath? I've been showing but really craving a bath..... it's been a couple of weeks since birth.

I had a section last year, i lost a lot of blood and ended up in Intensive Care for a couple of days after. Day 4 I was back on a normal mother/baby ward and despite my complications I was encouraged to walk and have a bath. That first bath was amazing and my scar has healed exceptionally well. I didn't use fragranced products and only let the water wash over my wound, no scrubbing. Patted dry softly with a towel after. Hope this helps! x

Thank you! Didn't realise it was so soon. I'll go for it though x

Oh yep go for it, 4 weeks is plenty. Enjoy

I've had four sections and always had a bath the day I've been discharged, so 2-3 days post birth.
