Not the best photo, but has anyone got any experience of oral thrush in babies? There’s been a white substance on my two week old’s tongue for a couple of days - I managed to scrape a bit of it off, but not sure if it’s milk or not Confused

Also my breasts have started hurting - I thought she was only lazily latching at night, but now wondering if related? They just feel tender, like a lazy latch or a lot of cluster feeding would.

Any thoughts? Not sure what I can do on a Saturday if it needs a dr...

I had ductoral thrush - google it! Passed on through breast feeding- was painful! Not harmful just inconvenient!
Had to have an oral gel for the baby and cream for me! See if your symptoms match and go to the doctor

Update - yes it’s thrush Sad

@KittyMcTitty hadn’t heard of that, thanks! Symptoms fit more than ‘normal’ thrush. Baby now has oral Daktarin gel and I’ve got Daktarin cream; fx they work soon...
