C section recovery - is this normal?

Hi all, had a c section 5 weeks ago today, recovery been ok- scar healed nicely and bleeding had slowed to a stop earlier this week. However the last 2 days I have bright red blood, only during the day, and pain in the right side of my stomach again. I read somewhere it could be the placenta scab? Has anyone experienced this?

Bright red blood and pain means get medical attention.

I've had four sections and it has been normal for me for the blood flow to stop and start again. sometimes it was really heavy. However I would definitley get this checked out as you won't know for definite.
