Leaking urine 2 weeks post birth

Slightly embarrassing - but is anyone else leaking urine? I gave birth 2 weeks ago, fast labour, no issues and only a couple of stitches. But I've noticed that I'm leaking urine into my mat pads. I'm not incontinent, but I'm not feeling any need to go when it happens. Is this usual??

Not in a patronising way but are you 100% sure it's urine? I wouldn't worry too much just make sure you're doing your pelvic floors when you feel able.

Hm, I know that for a few weeks if I sat cross legged that happened. It stopped abruptly and I'd forgotten about it until now.

I do have the nhs squeezy app though as it's something I'm paranoid about. Midwife said it can even happen after c sections.

It's a bit whiffy so I do think it's wee! I'm trying to remember to do my pelvic floors and hope they'll help, just paranoid at the moment!

Welcome to motherhood, my daughter is 20 months now and I'm constantly soaked through, sorry for the bluntness.
I get out of the bath and have to sit on the toilet for at least 15 mins as I seem to suck up water and it just kind of comes out and I can't help it. I think it's just a case of motherhood Grin
