Milk supply

I'm looking for some help, I don't know if there's anything more that I can try.

• Baby will not latch to be breastfed and hasn't from day 1. Outright refuses no matter what I do.
• Began to hand express colostrum and then pump milk when it came in. Started out on a good note and then by the 8th day the supply began to decrease. Never managed to get more than 40ml.
• Tried to do everything I could to build supply back up, seen two different breastfeeding supports, take Fenugreek, Shivarti and Blessed Thistle, pump eight times a day, including some cluster pumps and overnight ones, hand express and use electric pump, eat oats, drink 2 litres of water, always get fruit and veg, pump while interacting with baby next to me, lots of skin to skin. I've even taken nursing days and just pumped non stop. I pump for 10 minutes a side but the milk will usually dry up within 2 or 3 and the rest of the time nothing will even come.
• GP prescribed some Domperidone to build up supply it works ok while I take it and then when I stop supply drops again.
• Without Domperidone my supply is probably about 5ml all day, with it about 10ml.

Is there anything I'm not doing that I could try. I don't want to give up but I don't really know what more I can do and the 5ml always ends up stuck on the bottle sides so in the end I can only get about 2 drops in to baby's mouth.

If you're not doing so already double pumping worked very well for myself, I was also drinking more like 4 litres of fluid per day 3 of those water.
Breast massage before and during a pump session, hot water bottle on my chest while massaging.
Active relaxation, closing eyes, deep breathing, sounds cheesy but happy thoughts.
I had a hands free bra which helped a lot.
I used to pump 6-7 times a day and sometimes would get two sets of letdown in one session and would fill up two bottles of 220ml each pump.
Average daily was nearly 2 litres.

Oh and one pump was always around 2am, ShockSad

Hi Willow.
How old is your baby? Do you still try to get them to latch now and again? I agree with PP about double pumping, makes your body think you have to feed twins so ur milk supply will increase. Also, what pump are you using? Could just be a rubbish pump maybe?
Hope you figure this out, you sound like your doing all the right things.
