Knee pain

Hi, has anyone experienced extended knee pain following birth? Since birth and continuously for 10 months now I’ve had pain in one knee - it’s not painful when I’m not moving it is just when I put pressure on that knee alone (so when getting up from floor and bearing weight on that leg). Curious to know whether anyone has experienced this?

Yes! I've had this. I think it's just because we are getting down on the floor more often? Xx

Me too! Went to the drs about it this week. He said it’s all to do with the relaxin hormone stretching all your ligaments and it can take up to a year for it to go back to normal. Recommended the knee exercises on the nhs choices website and apparently ibuprofen gel is fine to use if your breastfeeding x
