Pain down below on first period

Hey everyone.
I had my first baby 10 weeks ago, natural delivery and only 2 small tears which the midwife said healed up quite quickly.
I started the pill 3 weeks ago and took my first period yesterday after having my baby.
I started using pads however it is quiet heavy so moved to tampons.
This evening I am quite sensitive around the front where I had a stitch. I haven't had any issues before now.
Would this be the tampon or any other suggestions why the tenderness has just started?
Thanks

It's probably the tampon. The scar tissue will still be quite tender only ten weeks on.

I couldn't use them comfortably for about six months after having dc (two tears both 2nd degree needing stitches, one front, one back)
