Issues after emergency c-section for eclampsia

Hi all
My daughter had an emergency c-section at 35 weeks. She had underlying blood pressure variability which turned into eclampsia. She also had complete previa and cholestatis and failed epidural during delivery
She delivered at 3pm and despite being told she was staying in bed was made to shower unattended at 11pm by the night staff
She ended up with hospital acquired pneumonia on iv antibiotics for 6 days and discharged with further antibiotics.
Initially after the birth she was amazing. She said it went wrong immediately after the shower.
20 months later she has had 4 confirmed pneumonias, 13 rounds of steroids and she has a compromised immune system and has unresponsive asthma (or similar - they arent sure - no issues prior to birth)
My question is did the shower contribute to the hospital acquired pneumonia, was it too soon after eclampsia and has anyone else developed asthma or immune issues after birth
Thanks in advance
