When does the swelling go?

I had my boy through c section 5 days ago and I am really struggling with the postpartum water retention and swelling, I look so huge and my legs and feet are so massive and heavy, it's so uncomfortable! I know it's normal to get water retention, how long did it take yours to go away?

Poor you. I was just the same after my c section and I was really worried about it. My swelling disappeared after 2 weeks. I think I lived in baggy clothes and flip flops until it went. I hope your swelling goes soon and congratulations

About 2 weeks after my c-section too. It just suddenly disappeared one day. Went from being unable to wear anything but flip flops to my normal feet overnight, lost 5kg over a weekend!
