Hi all, thank you for reading this I was hoping for some advice. I had two babies within 12 months so I didn’t really have periods in between. Now that my time of the month has come back I am having the most dreadful PMT for over a week at a time. I’m also really rather uncomfortable with period cramps each month. I don’t remember it ever being this bad. I just want to sit and cry for a week at a time and I’m shouting at everybody. It does go again so I don’t think is postnatal depression. Does anyone know if there is a form of contraception that is better to help with PMT? I haven’t sorted out any contraception since I had my youngest daughter is coming up four months. I wondered if there was a better one to choose that might help?

Hi Op
I am the same, 6 months post baby, horrendous pmt and very heavy periods. I am going to the family planning nurse later to try something to help with both.
