Hey. I'm 6 months down the line from my second c section and it's a bit sore today nothing major so I rubbed some cream and felt that half of the scar has lumps under it. anyone else have this?! Wonder if it's infected but could it be this far down the line 🤔

Sounds quite normal I'm afraid, though I suppose depends how big the lumps are? There is so much to heal after a c-section, lots of internal wounds to heal as well as the external cut.
Hope it's not too sore?

@moofolk hey. It's not sore sore just a bit uncomfortable here and there. Just wondered if anyone else has it. First time I noticed it today

I can still feel lumps under mine 18 months after the fact. I'm assuming it is my new normal. It was an emcs and to quote the surgeon, "he was a bit stuck" so I'm assuming the extended rummage, pulling and hauling on my guts had an additional impact.

A leaflet leaving hospital on roughly what to expect would have been nice, because really, I've no idea what normal is!!

@Notlostjustexploring I think I did get a leaflet but was too busy adjusting to having two kids to read it doh. I've had all sorts since I had my second. Going to the loo for 💩 was the biggest change hurt like hell so now on tablets and sachets for the forseable 🙄🙄

I had my emcs 14 months ago and can also still feel lumps in my scar

I had a lumpy scar after my first 2 sections. Then I had a senior consultant for my third who cut out all the old scar tissue. No lumps now.

Totally normal. My third looked like a labia.

Phew. Thanks everyone x
