How long did you bleed for post c section?

Just that really? I'm 6 weeks post c section and I've had loads of problems including a uterine infection (scar was fine - problem was internal). I'm still bleeding black stringy blood and on my 6 week check the doctor was surprised and is going to send me for a scan if it's not stopped by next week.

I get through about 2/3 liners/ light pads a day.

How many weeks did you bleed for post section?

Bearing in mind this was 10 years ago I seem to recall only bleeding for a couple of weeks then very lightly for a couple more. I don't remember it carrying on until my 6 week check.

I've had 2 previous sections and don't recall excessive bleeding with them either?

About 5 weeks and it was in the range of normal. But with previous infection and continued bleeding I'd want to be scanned just that they make sure there are no bits of placenta left in there.

I'm Currently on week 14 post c section and still bleeding. It slowed down after 6 weeks then my period started, that lasted a few weeks and then I seem to be bleeding Post c section blood. My doctor has also referred me for a scan. He gave me a course of antibiotics in case there was an internal infection.

6 weeks

On Mat pads for maybe 4 days, and a pantyliner for a few days after that. One pantyliner for contingency after a week and stopped using them at about 10 days.

About 5-6 weeks I think. Hope everything is ok down there for you op :)

I'm still bleeding having had my section a month ago. Glad you asked the question OP as I was wondering the same!

About 3 weeks of watery period.

Less than a week, fairjy light.
