8 week jabs - worries mum!

Hi all. First time mum here looking for a bit of reassurance

Little one had his jabs 2 days ago. Bit grouchy in the day and slept okay at night. He has also been a bit grouchy in day 2. Feeding fine so thought I'd had a good experience with it!

However day 2 night I fed him at 6pm. I went to sleep and husband stayed awake to do 10 o'clock feed but he didn't wake up. Husband left him to sleep and the fell asleep himself. He woke at 3am for a feed so a whole 9 hours with nothing and took the full 7oz he has and straight back to sleep. Woke at 7 for a feed and only had 2oz and back to sleep.

Is this normal? After being so well day 1 after jabs and now feeling it in day 2/3?

If he's feeding, doing wet and dirty nappies, has no temperature or sign of a rash and isn't lethargic when he wakes I'd say he's fine. It's probably just a coincidence.

If you're at all worried though can you give the surgery a ring just to run it by them?

My DS was the same after his 8 week ones...did they recommend Calpol to prevent fever? I think the Calpol knocked my DS out for a few days and he wasn't himself...but fine by day 3. The 2nd set of injections are fine, no side affects I found, my DS is due his 3rd ones this week.
