Periods after labour

When did everyone's periods start back?

My son is 8 weeks old, my bleeding stopped at 3 weeks and I'm worried I haven't had period yet. We wanted to start trying for another mid-end this year. (I know it's soon but we do have our reasons medically)

I'm waiting for it to start so I can start tracking again and I'm worried it's not going to arrive. I know it's silly but I'm panicking.

do you ff or breastfeed? i breastfeed and mine just arrived...22months later.
you can ttc even without having period back though.

My periods started again approx 18 months after giving birth (mybe a bit earlier with dc1) - I breastfed but I have friends who also breastfed whose periods started again after a couple of months- everyone’s different.

Oh gosh, I thought it was weeks after it started. I'm ff my DS.

I might be being really thick here but I thought you didn't ovulate without a period?

I EBF and it was 29 fecking days after I'd given birth and then 29 fecking days onwards until this pregnancy 🙄

Mine started after 5 months, mixed feeding.

If ff, it can still take a couple of months I think.
