Prolapse and vaginal oestrogen

Hi there
I’m struggling big time with a cystocele prolapse. Some days it’s ok, others just dreadful. I’ve suffered from bladder infections making it worse and battling constipation. The doctor has recently prescribed vaginal oestrogen as she feels my symptoms could be caused/ worsened by low levels. She’s also referred me to a urogynaecologist.
Does anyone have any experience with vaginal oestrogen? Does it work and if that is the problem, how long dies it take to start noticing an improvement? Reaching the end of my tether and really finding it hard to take care of and enjoy my daughter too. I’m 6 months pp and this started about 2.4/3 months pp.

Thank you!!
