I'm now 13 months PP and I still have about a 4 finger gap in between my muscles and look a good 4/5 months pregnant at times! Does anyone know of any good exercises to help bring them back together? I know things like sit ups/planking make it worse, but not sure what helps make them better?
Any advice would be much appreciated, thank you xx

I used this and loved it. The Mutu system, will start using it again once I’m 6w post partum.

Also Katie Bowman has a book about DR and posts on her website (Nutritious Movement).

These are great self help methods. A proper specialist in women’s physio can help too. And the Squeezy app is a nice little starting point!

I'd get professional help if I were you. You don't want to do any damage.

Yes to professional help. Not not a regular PT. I saw several who all recommended exercises which made DR worse. Finally found a good women’s physio, and the Hospital where I recently gave birth have physio department and classes.
