What happened at yours?

What was discussed/checked with you? And for baby?

Anyone? My new GP asked if I was depressed, checked DD hips and that was it?

I'm in Ireland but GP checked baby's hips, ears and eyes. (As far as I remember) Weighed baby. Asked me how I was , felt my tummy. Asked me about contraception.

I’m in jersey. My gp checked my stitches and such, asked me about contraception, asked me about my well-being how was I coping etc.

With ds she weighed and measured him, checked his eyes ears mouth nose, hips, essentially everything.

I'm considering asking for another check up, I don't feel like everything was checked. I had stitches and they weren't checked.

Absolutely ask if you're not happy

I’ve had 3 babies and 3 lots of stitches and they were never checked at my 6 week check.

Pottering what happened at your check up? I really felt like it was a waste of time, in and out in 5 mins

No checks for me at all, but same checks for baby as done by the paediatrician in hospital (eyes, abdomen and hips are all I can remember). Were in and out in less than two minutes.

Very strange, they make it sound so important too.
