Hi!! Has anyone else suffered with a swollen thyroid after having a baby?? I'm three months post partum. Bloods are normal, I don't have any symptoms really of over or under active thyroid so I'm terrified as internet points to cancer 😭 I'm stressing myself out so so much. I can't cope :(

I had a swollen thyroid a year after baby & had it checked out. Turned out to be nothing..thyroid aspirated, all back to normal. However in that process I found out that pregnancy can cause this..perhaps the specialist mentioned it. When it's so close to your delivery it's most likely connected. Go to gp, get the cyst aspirated, probably nothing at all.

You probably don't need this by thyroid cancer is treatable by surgery alone (in some cases) so don't worry too much. Go to a good specialist if you can - will save you a lot of tests & anxiety.

Like the previous poster said it is likely pregnancy related - look up postpartum thyroiditis. I'd suggest definitely popping to the doctor though, just to check :)
I had a suspected swollen thyroid last year (not pregnancy related), and it resulted in having my entire thyroid removed as it was a (benign) tumour that was also wrapped around my windpipe. Of course I'm not insinuating yours is anything like that but it's always worth checking these things :)
