C-Section Post Birth Tips Anyone?

I wondered if anyone had any tips on the best way to... just survive after a c-section!

Ive had 2 before but always struggle post delivery to look after myself first on top of a newborn. Especially - any tips on sleeping positions? I can't lay down straight away for a few days at least and end up sleeping upright for days on end. Also - any tips on feeding a newborn without having to constantly lift them out of a Moses basket??

It's hard work recovering from a c section and looking after a newborn. Like you said sleeping propped up with a few pillows worked for me and reduced the pain. Try and stay on top of your pain killers taking them regularly even if you feel the pain isn't that bad by the time your next lot is due! Also try and walk with your back straight I was slouching as I was walking as it was so painful it was pulling my stomach to stand up straight but I ended up with terrible back ache. As for feeding and lifting your little one I don't have any tips but it does get easier. Good luck! X

For the feeding issue I would highly recommend a bedside crib I had the snuzpod. It can also be used as a standalone crib too. I think for sleeping positions it was a case of getting as comfy as I could using my dream genii and v shaped pillow! Hope all goes well for you
