Pelvic pain

I'm 12 days PP and every time I stand up (from sofa, bed, car etc) I feel like I've been kicked in the crotch. It's in my pelvis, almost around / behind my clit area.

I had a forceps delivery after a long pushing period with a stuck baby.

I mentioned it to the healthcare visitor and she brushed it off saying give it 6 weeks. I didn't mention it to the midwife as the pain wasn't there right birth, it started around 3-4 days ago. I definitely think it's getting worse but wonder if the bruising is just coming out?

I had SPD in the pregnancy but it felt different, this pain takes my breath away for a moment then completely passes.

Help - anyone else had this?

Just go to your doctor, it's what they are there for.

I'd rather not waste their time if it is just one of those things, plus I'm not registered at my local GP yet.

not a waste of gp time if you are worried or in pain.
I had a similar birth to you, 5 hours of pushing, stuck baby, failed ventouse, episotomy and forceps. bruising came out about day 3 and pain was worse from this point for about a week. was still sore for about 3 weeks but it started improving by the 2 week mark. prescribed pain killers helped as did a comfy cushion and lots of rest. hope it improves soon for you

Thank you.

DD is registered now so plan on getting to local GP to register the whole family there tomorrow. Hopefully be able to make an appointment then too.

I'm nearly 2 weeks PP and it's definitely not improving thus far.
