Hi mummas.
Mum to 4 boys but never had this before.
Bubs is 18 weeks old
After birth i bled for roughly 10-11 weeks which im thinking i had a period in that time frame. A little background: on microlut mini pill, breastfeeding and just started a small amount of farax as per health nurse request. I dont always do nightly feeds at the breast, sometimes hubby will do a breastmilk bottle feed or he sleeps through (8hrs).
Anyway 3 days ago i had some brown blood, this happened in morning and only when i wiped nothing ended up on the pad. It stopped. Next day i had bright red blood, a decent amount to make me think yep its here finally. Went to toilet a few more times that morning and nothing on pad and it stopped by lunch time. Thats it, had no blood since but have had cramps like AF is here or coming. Just to be safe i took a pregnancy test afternoon of bright red blood and then again first morning urine next morning and both Neg. Had intercourse once about 20+ days ago so im thinking the neg is a true neg being that many days ago and both on pill and used condom also.
Have any of you mummas had the same or similar thing? Was it your period? Breakthrough bleeding or letting you know AF is about to arrive?
