Period no show

My DS is 4 months old and last month I had a period but even though I have felt like a period has been about to start this month I have not had any bleeding, is this normal? DS was exclusively BF until recently and now is combination fed.

I gave up BFing couple months ago and I've been waiting for a while for my 3rd period to show now. Last gap was 8 weeks and current gap is at 5 weeks.

Think it takes a while for cycles to go back to normal after BFing.

Hi, before my periods came back after dc2, I had quite painful period type pains for one day and one night. I was convinced my period was coming back and very disappointed by the pain coming back too. Period came but about two weeks later! I guess what I felt must have been ovulation symptoms. I never felt ovulation before.
